This fall we’re launching the Facebook for Student Journalists program to train the next generation of journalists on how to create video content for storytelling.
To kick off this initiative, we’ll explore how students can create news stories visually with Facebook Video. We’ve partnered with journalism schools across the country to host training sessions on their campuses. Ultimately, our goal is to continue to build on this work and expand our sessions to explore other tools and features that can be added to students’ toolkit on storytelling and newsgathering on Facebook.
Below you can find the schools we’ve partnered with for this initiative:
- UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism
- Newhouse NYC
- Rutgers University School of Communication and Information
- NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute
- USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism
Don’t see your school listed? Sign up for the Facebook Journalism Project’s newsletter to find out when we’ll be visiting your campus.
This post will be updated with additional participating schools.
